In 2023, we constructed Nido di Charlie, a recently built holiday home that harmoniously blends the timeless Sardinian architectural style of the region with contemporary aesthetics of a clean and inviting interior design influenced by German craftsmanship. Situated along the picturesque eastern coast of Sardinia, our holiday home is peacefully nestled on the gentle slopes of Tanaunella, a charming Italian town. Here, you can enjoy a rejuvenating getaway with a stunning view and without compromising on the comforts of your own home.

The surrounding
Tanaunella, situated on the eastern coast of Sardinia, is a province that epitomizes the island's diverse and lush landscapes, adorned by the captivating turquoise sea. Amidst this breathtaking scenery, the Tavolara Islands, the smallest kingdom in Europe, grace the horizon, radiating in the shimmering sunlight. Merely a short distance away, the town of Budoni presents a multitude of establishments catering to everyday needs. From supermarkets to a variety of boutiques, including a vibrant night market, visitors can find everything they require. Additionally, Budoni offers convenient amenities such as a petrol station and specialized stores for water activities like swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. Approximately a half-hour drive from Tanaunella lies Olbia, a city that boasts the region's northern air and ferry port. It serves as a launching point for exciting boat excursions to Sardinia's renowned destinations, such as the glamorous Costa Smeralda, the enchanting La Maddalena archipelago, or even for embarking on a voyage to the neighboring island of Corsica.
That's us - your hosts
Three years ago, we discovered the enchanting allure of Sardinia, and today, we have turned our dream into reality by acquiring our very own holiday home on this beautiful island. We are a Berlin-based family, consisting of Bernd and Anja, along with our children Nelly, Thea, and Senta. And let's not forget our beloved furry companion, Charlie. Our home is ideally suited for up to eight individuals and warmly welcomes small pets with a maximum height of 30cm.
